The Wagner Cove Elopement of Caro & Hannes | A Central Park Wedding

This is the Wagner Cove Elopement of Caro & Hannes. These two traveled from Munich to New York City to say their “I Do’s” on a gorgeous autumn day in Central Park. We met Caro and Hannes at Wagner Cove where Jackie officiated a heartfelt ceremony before the three of us went on a little photo tour through Central Park. We stopped at the Bethesda Fountain and Terrace where the newlyweds had their first dance. After we spent some time in the park we jumped in a cab and ended our time together with some photos in Times Square. Hannes is a very talented singer by the way. Dies ist die Wagner Cove Hochzeit von Carl & Hannes. Die Zwei kamen aus München um sich im Central Park das “Ja Wort” zu geben. Es war ein wunderschöner Herbsttag und wir trafen Carl und Hannes direkt am Wagner Cove. Jackie führte eine von Herzen kommende Trauung durch und anschliessend ging es dann für die Hochzeitsfotos durch den Central Park. Dann sprangen wir in ein Taxi und endeten unseren Tag zusammen im Times Square. Hannes ist übrigens ein sehr talentierter Musiker. Wenn ihr seine Musik hören möchtet könnt ihr das HIER.

And around 631 million seconds of putting up with each other.

Today, exactly 20 years ago, I married my best friend. And I had no idea what the next 20 years would bring.

I love Jackie more today than ever. Which says a lot, because I already liked her quite a bit before. She is my best friend, my business partner, my favorite person to do absolutely nothing with, and somehow the only human alive who can handle my grumpy moods. No really, that alone should win her an award or something.

When we met, I was still an architect and Jackie was a musical theater actor. Neither of us could have imagined that 20 years later we would be running our own wedding business together, celebrating love for a living, and helping over 1,200 couples create their own love stories.

We literally spend all our time together. Business, travel, life...and I still wake up every day wanting more of it. That is either true love or early signs of insanity. Probably both.

And to think it all started when I walked down the stairs at Bethesda Terrace and saw her sitting by the fountain…in those ugly pink pants. (Yes, they were that bad. Whole nother story. Ask me about it sometime.)

Twenty years later, we have built this wild, beautiful, unpredictable life together. There have been plot twists, bad haircuts, flight delays, lost luggage, and a whole lot of laughter. And I would not trade a single second of it.

Here is to the next 20 years of chaos, love, and whatever else we get ourselves into. ❤️

We got paired with these two at our 6:54 AM tee time this morning @gallopinghillgolfcourse and right before we teed off, they mentioned they might stop to snap a quick photo for their pregnancy announcement.

Well, what are the odds they got paired with a photographer? So in between bogeys and lost balls, we knocked out an impromptu mini photo shoot. First time for everything, and golf magic at its finest.

Easily the best scorecard moment of the day. 😂

We got paired with these two at our 6:54 AM tee time this morning @gallopinghillgolfcourse and right before we teed off, they mentioned they might stop to snap a quick photo for their pregnancy announcement. Well, what are the odds they got paired with a photographer? So in between bogeys and lost balls, we knocked out an impromptu mini photo shoot. First time for everything, and golf magic at its finest. Easily the best scorecard moment of the day. 😂
