A Wedding at the Beekman Hotel in New York City is always something special.

Rachel & Craig tied the knot at the luxurious Beekman Hotel in New York City, surrounded by their closest family and friends. The Beekman Hotel, a historic landmark building, is located in the heart of Manhattan and is known for its stunning architecture, chic décor but above all, its unique photo opportunities. It was the perfect venue for this couple’s dream wedding. But before we walked into the hotel we met at the City Clerk’s Office for some fun shots in the streets of New York.

Es war der perfekte Ort für die Traumhochzeit von Rachel und Craig. 175,320 hours.
10,519,200 minutes.
And around 631 million seconds of putting up with each other.

Today, exactly 20 years ago, I married my best friend. And I had no idea what the next 20 years would bring.

I love Jackie more today than ever. Which says a lot, because I already liked her quite a bit before. She is my best friend, my business partner, my favorite person to do absolutely nothing with, and somehow the only human alive who can handle my grumpy moods. No really, that alone should win her an award or something.

When we met, I was still an architect and Jackie was a musical theater actor. Neither of us could have imagined that 20 years later we would be running our own wedding business together, celebrating love for a living, and helping over 1,200 couples create their own love stories.

We literally spend all our time together. Business, travel, life...and I still wake up every day wanting more of it. That is either true love or early signs of insanity. Probably both.

And to think it all started when I walked down the stairs at Bethesda Terrace and saw her sitting by the fountain…in those ugly pink pants. (Yes, they were that bad. Whole nother story. Ask me about it sometime.)

Twenty years later, we have built this wild, beautiful, unpredictable life together. There have been plot twists, bad haircuts, flight delays, lost luggage, and a whole lot of laughter. And I would not trade a single second of it.

Here is to the next 20 years of chaos, love, and whatever else we get ourselves into. ❤️
