I have been looking forward to writing this post for a looong time! And now that I have my very own blog I can finally show you guys one of the most amazing sessions I have ever had the pleasure to photograph. Last summer we visited my wife’s family in Portland, Oregon and I always wanted to do a shoot at Cannon Beach. Cannon Beach is right on the Oregon coast and you might recognize Haystack Rock in some of the images from one of my favorite movies of all time…THE GOONIES! I put out a casting call and it took only minutes until Michele was on board. Michele just got married weeks before our session so she had no problem getting out her wedding dress and off we went. We had so much fun! It was amazing. The weather was perfect and Michele was such a good sport. Isn’t she gorgeous?

Sometimes the wedding shoes deserve their own portrait. 👠❤️

We had officially finished our NYC elopement photo shoot when I spotted those unmistakable red soles in her hand and, well…we weren’t quite finished yet. 😂

There’s something very New York about walking through Midtown in your wedding dress with your Louboutins dangling from your fingers after a day of getting married. Elegant, exhausted, happy and absolutely worth one last photo.

And that little flash of red against the white dress? Come on. Some details are simply too good not to document.

Getting to this moment may or may not have required a bit of secret-agent-level planning 🤫, but looking at this stunning, timeless photo, it was so worth it. They are practically part of the museum now!
