Verena and Michael’s Stylish New York City Elopement: A Day to Remember. These two knew they wanted to celebrate their love in a special way. So, they decided to elope to New York City for a stylish and intimate wedding. Their day was filled with love, laughter, and stunning scenery, and I had the pleasure of capturing every moment as their wedding photographer.

The couple’s ceremony was held in Gantry Park, with Jackie officiating under the iconic New York City skyline. Verena, looking chic and stylish, wore a cool leather jacket, adding a touch of edginess to her bridal look. After the ceremony, we stayed for a bit in Long Island City for some stunning photos of the newlyweds, with the city skyline as the backdrop. The couple’s love for each other was evident in every photo we took.

Stylish and Intimate NYC Elopement

We then took the subway to Grand Central for more photos around the buzzing city, capturing the excitement and energy of New York. Throughout the day, Verena and Michael’s love for each other shone through, and their stylish elopement was truly a day to remember.

Verenas und Michaels stilvolles New Yorker Elopement: Ein unvergesslicher Tag. Das Paar wusste, dass sie ihre Liebe auf besondere Weise verbringen wollten, deshalb beschlossen sie, in New York City eine stilvolle und intime Hochzeit zu feiern. Ihr Tag war gefüllt mit Liebe, Lachen und atemberaubender Landschaft, und ich hatte das Vergnügen, jeden Moment als ihr Hochzeitsfotograf festzuhalten.

Die Zeremonie des Paares fand im Gantry Park statt, wo Jackie unter der legendären Skyline von New York City das Paar traute. Verena sah chic und stilvoll aus und trug eine coole Lederjacke. Nach der Zeremonie verbrachten wir noch eine Weile in Long Island City für einige Fotos des frisch vermählten Paares, mit der Skyline der Stadt im Hintergrund. Die Liebe des Paares füreinander war in jedem Foto, das wir machten, offensichtlich.

Anschließend nahmen wir die Subway zum Grand Central für weitere Fotos in der pulsierenden Stadt, um die Energie von New York einzufangen. Als Hochzeitsfotograf für Elopements in New York City war es eine Ehre, die Magie und Schönheit von Verena und Michaels stilvolle Hochzeit in New York festzuhalten.

10,519,200 minutes.
And around 631 million seconds of putting up with each other.

Today, exactly 20 years ago, I married my best friend. And I had no idea what the next 20 years would bring.

I love Jackie more today than ever. Which says a lot, because I already liked her quite a bit before. She is my best friend, my business partner, my favorite person to do absolutely nothing with, and somehow the only human alive who can handle my grumpy moods. No really, that alone should win her an award or something.

When we met, I was still an architect and Jackie was a musical theater actor. Neither of us could have imagined that 20 years later we would be running our own wedding business together, celebrating love for a living, and helping over 1,200 couples create their own love stories.

We literally spend all our time together. Business, travel, life...and I still wake up every day wanting more of it. That is either true love or early signs of insanity. Probably both.

And to think it all started when I walked down the stairs at Bethesda Terrace and saw her sitting by the fountain…in those ugly pink pants. (Yes, they were that bad. Whole nother story. Ask me about it sometime.)

Twenty years later, we have built this wild, beautiful, unpredictable life together. There have been plot twists, bad haircuts, flight delays, lost luggage, and a whole lot of laughter. And I would not trade a single second of it.

Here is to the next 20 years of chaos, love, and whatever else we get ourselves into. ❤️

We got paired with these two at our 6:54 AM tee time this morning @gallopinghillgolfcourse and right before we teed off, they mentioned they might stop to snap a quick photo for their pregnancy announcement.

Well, what are the odds they got paired with a photographer? So in between bogeys and lost balls, we knocked out an impromptu mini photo shoot. First time for everything, and golf magic at its finest.

Easily the best scorecard moment of the day. 😂

We got paired with these two at our 6:54 AM tee time this morning @gallopinghillgolfcourse and right before we teed off, they mentioned they might stop to snap a quick photo for their pregnancy announcement. Well, what are the odds they got paired with a photographer? So in between bogeys and lost balls, we knocked out an impromptu mini photo shoot. First time for everything, and golf magic at its finest. Easily the best scorecard moment of the day. 😂
