The New York City elopement of Leana & Ally was so much fun to photograph. On a picture perfect day in July these two ladies got hitched in front of the majestic New York skyline in Brooklyn Bridge Park. After the ceremony we all took a quick spin on Jane’s Carousel before we captured some wedding photos on the board walk in Dumbo. We also stopped at Grand Central Terminal, Chelsea Market, the Highline and ended the day with photos on the streets of the Meatpacking District. Leana & Ally enjoyed their wedding dinner and some well deserved cocktails at Spice Market.

Leana & Ally, I can’t put into words how much fun I had with you guys. You are such a relaxed, genuine and beautiful couple (inside and out)…and I feel so privileged that you asked me to photograph your wedding day for you. You guys rock! I still love her 85 times to the moon and back. She’s the calm when things get chaotic, the one who sees the good in every situation, and the glue that holds us all together. Her laugh can brighten any day, and her support is the kind of magic you don’t take for granted.

I love our trips to the Baltic Sea, our Disney adventures, and the simple, everyday moments that make life with her so special. She’s my business partner, the love of my life, and my best friend - and I’m endlessly grateful for her, for us, and for the life we’ve built together.

This October, we’ll celebrate 20 years of marriage, and I swear I love her more with every passing year. ❤️
