The New York Winter Elopement of Holly & Jonny | A Central Park Wedding

This is the New York winter elopement of Holly & Jonny. And of I may say, we are so happy to finally welcome our overseas couples back here in the ‘Big Apple’. Holly and Jonny traveled from Sunderland in the UK to celebrate their wedding day with Team Reinking. They booked our “All-in-One” package so that they did not have any stress with applying for the wedding license and such. Makeup & hair, flowers, wedding applications, processed forms and so much more is included in our “All-in-One” package. That way you can just concentrate on your big day.

And we had such a blast on a cold but gorgeous winter day in the city. Jackie officiated their wedding at ‘Strawberry Fields’ with lots of onlookers. After the ceremony Holly changed out of her romantic wedding gown into a stylish white suite! She definitely got some compliments for that choice from New Yorkers and tourists alike. Holly & Jonny, thank you so much for letting us be part of this amazing day. You are now a “Team Reinking Couple”.

Dies ist die New Yorker Winterhochzeit von Holly & Jonny. Und wir freuen uns sehr, unsere Paare aus Übersee endlich wieder hier im „Big Apple“ begrüßen zu können. Holly und Jonny reisten aus Sunderland in Großbritannien an, um ihren Hochzeitstag mit Team Reinking zu feiern. Sie haben unser “Rundum Sorglos” Paket gebucht, damit sie keinen Stress mit der Beantragung der Hochzeitslizenz hatten. Und wir hatten so viel Spaß an einem kalten, aber wunderschönen Wintertag in der Stadt. Jackie traute die Zwei beim „Strawberry Fields“ mit einigen Zuschauern. Nach der Trauung wechselte Holly aus ihrem romantisches Hochzeitskleid in einen stylischen weißen Anzug! Sie hat definitiv einige Komplimente für diese Wahl von New Yorkern und Touristen gleichermaßen bekommen. Holly & Jonny, vielen Dank, dass wir an diesem großartigen Tag teilhaben durften. 10,519,200 minutes.
And around 631 million seconds of putting up with each other.

Today, exactly 20 years ago, I married my best friend. And I had no idea what the next 20 years would bring.

I love Jackie more today than ever. Which says a lot, because I already liked her quite a bit before. She is my best friend, my business partner, my favorite person to do absolutely nothing with, and somehow the only human alive who can handle my grumpy moods. No really, that alone should win her an award or something.

When we met, I was still an architect and Jackie was a musical theater actor. Neither of us could have imagined that 20 years later we would be running our own wedding business together, celebrating love for a living, and helping over 1,200 couples create their own love stories.

We literally spend all our time together. Business, travel, life...and I still wake up every day wanting more of it. That is either true love or early signs of insanity. Probably both.

And to think it all started when I walked down the stairs at Bethesda Terrace and saw her sitting by the fountain…in those ugly pink pants. (Yes, they were that bad. Whole nother story. Ask me about it sometime.)

Twenty years later, we have built this wild, beautiful, unpredictable life together. There have been plot twists, bad haircuts, flight delays, lost luggage, and a whole lot of laughter. And I would not trade a single second of it.

Here is to the next 20 years of chaos, love, and whatever else we get ourselves into. ❤️

Couples always ask me what happens if it rains on their wedding day. We got paired with these two at our 6:54 AM tee time this morning @gallopinghillgolfcourse and right before we teed off, they mentioned they might stop to snap a quick photo for their pregnancy announcement.

Well, what are the odds they got paired with a photographer? So in between bogeys and lost balls, we knocked out an impromptu mini photo shoot. First time for everything, and golf magic at its finest.

Easily the best scorecard moment of the day. 😂

We got paired with these two at our 6:54 AM tee time this morning @gallopinghillgolfcourse and right before we teed off, they mentioned they might stop to snap a quick photo for their pregnancy announcement. Well, what are the odds they got paired with a photographer? So in between bogeys and lost balls, we knocked out an impromptu mini photo shoot. First time for everything, and golf magic at its finest. Easily the best scorecard moment of the day. 😂
