Josie & Roman’s Micro Wedding at the Ladies Pavilion | Mini Wedding in Central Park

This is Josie & Roman’s Micro Wedding at the Ladies’ Pavilion in Central Park. Josie and Roman traveled from Germany to tie the knot on a gorgeous day in September. Jackie performed a wonderful ceremony before we made our way through Central Park for their wedding photos. The venue for their dinner party was in Williamsburg so we stopped by the newly opened Domino Park before Josie and Roman sat down for dinner with their friends and family. It was a picture perfect wedding day from start to finish.

Dies ist die Hochzeit von Josie & Roman in Ladies’ Pavilion im Central Park. Josie und Roman reisten aus Deutschland an um sich an einem wunderschönen Tag im September das ‘Ja-Wort’ zu geben. Jackie führte die Trauung durch und im Anschluss ging es dann durch den Central Park für Hochzeitsfotos. Das Restaurant das sich die Zwei ausgesucht hatten war in Williamsburg. Und auf dem Weg dorthin hielten wir noch kurz im neuen Domino Park an bevor die Zwei dann ihr wohlverdientes Abendessen mit ihren Freunden und Familien genossen.

20 years!!
7,305 days.
175,320 hours.
10,519,200 minutes.
And around 631 million seconds of putting up with each other.

Today, exactly 20 years ago, I married my best friend. And I had no idea what the next 20 years would bring.

I love Jackie more today than ever. Which says a lot, because I already liked her quite a bit before. She is my best friend, my business partner, my favorite person to do absolutely nothing with, and somehow the only human alive who can handle my grumpy moods. No really, that alone should win her an award or something.

When we met, I was still an architect and Jackie was a musical theater actor. Neither of us could have imagined that 20 years later we would be running our own wedding business together, celebrating love for a living, and helping over 1,200 couples create their own love stories.

We literally spend all our time together. Business, travel, life...and I still wake up every day wanting more of it. That is either true love or early signs of insanity. Probably both.

And to think it all started when I walked down the stairs at Bethesda Terrace and saw her sitting by the fountain…in those ugly pink pants. (Yes, they were that bad. Whole nother story. Ask me about it sometime.)

Twenty years later, we have built this wild, beautiful, unpredictable life together. There have been plot twists, bad haircuts, flight delays, lost luggage, and a whole lot of laughter. And I would not trade a single second of it.

Here is to the next 20 years of chaos, love, and whatever else we get ourselves into. ❤️

Couples always ask me what happens if it rains on their wedding day. We got paired with these two at our 6:54 AM tee time this morning @gallopinghillgolfcourse and right before we teed off, they mentioned they might stop to snap a quick photo for their pregnancy announcement.

Well, what are the odds they got paired with a photographer? So in between bogeys and lost balls, we knocked out an impromptu mini photo shoot. First time for everything, and golf magic at its finest.

Easily the best scorecard moment of the day. 😂

We got paired with these two at our 6:54 AM tee time this morning @gallopinghillgolfcourse and right before we teed off, they mentioned they might stop to snap a quick photo for their pregnancy announcement. Well, what are the odds they got paired with a photographer? So in between bogeys and lost balls, we knocked out an impromptu mini photo shoot.
