The Grand Central Wedding of Maribel & Dorian

The Grand Central Wedding of Maribel and Dorian was everything I hoped for and more. This elopement was truly international with the newlyweds born and raised in the Bronx and Washington Heights but now living in China (Maribel) and Pakistan (Dorian). Furthermore we had a photographer from Germany and a Spanish speaking officiant. How amazing is that? Because Maribel and Dorian wanted some more ‘edgy’ looking photos I met them in SoHo to capture them with Graffiti and cobble stone streets in the background. We took the subway to the New York Public Library for some additional photos before we made our way to Grand Central for the actual wedding. While the family was gathered around the happy couple, Daniela performed a heartfelt ceremony while commuter passed by us. It truly was a magical day and I’m so glad I was asked to be part of it. Maribel and Dorian, thank you so much again!

Die Grand Central Hochzeit von Maribel und Dorian war besser als ich es mir erhofft hatte. Die Trauung war international. Die Zwei kamen gebürtig aus der Bronx und Washington Heights, leben aber mittlerweile in China (Maribel) und Pakistan (Dorian). Außerdem hatten wir einen Fotografen aus Deutschland und eine Friedensrichterin die Spanisch sprach. Klasse, oder? Wir fingen unseren Tag zusammen in SoHo an wo ich die Zwei vor Graffiti-Wänden und auf Kopfsteinpflastern fotografieren durfte. Anschliessend sprangen wir in die Subway um an der ‘Public Library’ einige Fotos zu machen. Der letzte Stop war dann die Grand Central wo Daniela eine tolle Zeremonie durchführte. Es war wirklich ein toller Tag mit allen beteiligten. Heiraten in New York, besser geht es halt kaum.
