This is the Central Park Wedding of Skye & Sam. Together with a close group of friends and family members, Skye and Sam made their way from Australia to New York City to get married in Central Park. It was a cold but gorgeous day in the ‘Big Apple’. After Jackie performed a beautiful ceremony in the park we were off to the Top of the Rock for some wedding photos. Afterwards my friend Peter drove us around the city in his classy Checker Cab before we dropped off Skye and Sam at their reception at ‘The Monarch’.

Dies ist die Central Park Hochzeit von Skye & Sam. Zusammen mit einer kleinen Gruppe von Freunden kamen die Zwei aus Australien nach New York um im Central Park zu heiraten. Es war zwar ein sehr kalter aber wunderschöner Tag im ‘Big Apple’. Jackie hatte eine ganz tolle Zeremonie vorbereitet und im Anschluss ging es dann zum Top of the Rock für Hochzeitsfotos. Mein Freund Peter fuhr uns hinterher mit seinem Checker Cab durch die Stadt wo unsere letzte Station die ‘The Monarch’ Roofdeck Bar war.

One of my favorite things about photographing NYC elopements is how quickly the city changes the mood. One minute you are tucked away in Central Park, the next you are standing in the middle of Manhattan with yellow cabs, buses, crosswalks, and skyscrapers all around you. Maria & Timo made it look effortless.
