Elope at the Cop Cot in Central Park. That is what Ashely and Joshua did on a rainy April Day in New York City. But don’t think for a second that the rain would have ruined their union. Ashley and Joshua had only eyes for each other that day and you could see their happiness on their faces throughout the entire day. Jackie officiated the ceremony at the Cop Cot and after the ‘I Dos’ were said, followed by many hugs and kisses from friends and family, we made our way to Chelsea Market for some wedding photos. Ashley and Joshua’a wish was to get a photo underneath the clock. When the rain stopped we visited the High Line Park before I dropped them off at Freemans to enjoy some well deserved drink. Ashley and Josh, it meant so much that you asked me to be part of your wedding day. You are such a fun couple and I enjoyed every single minute with the two of you.

I stumbled upon your photography of this couple’s wedding just while browsing on Googlemaps trying to decide on a hotel location for an upcoming weekend trip to NYC after picking up our college son from Connecticut (flying home after that). You just made my Sunday! I was feeling blue, but your photography of this wedding is so inspiring. Our daughter is an art and design student at the University of Michigan. She loves photography, so I’ll show her your amazing examples. Each time I found a favorite, another new one would pop up. Just off the top of my head, I loved the shot of the bride through the rain-dropletted umbrella, the photo of the couple through the glass with the yellow taxi whizzing underneath, the dark silhouette of them facing each other, the colorful shots in front of the building wall art, etc. I could go on forever. Beautiful and such artistic shots–congratulations, to you as well on a job well done!
Brenda, you just made my day. Thank you so much for those nice words. I truly appreciate that. :)
Just so lovely Sascha :)
