Today I would like to share a little sneak peek of Amila & Andreas’ Bethesda Terrace elopement. This sneak peek is for all you guys who are, like me, in love with a good love story. Jackie officiated a beautiful ceremony in Central Park and their vows to each other were so emotional and honest – it was just spectacular. After the ceremony we took a stroll through the “Mall and Literary Walk” where we found Ralph, the saxophone player. We stopped at Grand Central where Amila & Andreas were surrounded by paparazzi/tourists with cameras. We ended our day in Brooklyn Bridge Park with some last photos in front of the New York skyline. Amila & Andreas…love, love, love you guys!!

Heute möchte ich euch einen kleinen Vorgeschmack auf Amila & Andreas’ ‘Bethesda Terrace’ Hochzeit geben. Dieser kleine Einblick ist für euch alle die, wie ich, eine gute Liebesgeschichte mögen. Jackie führte eine wunderschöne Zeremonie im Central Park durch und die Eheversprechen der beiden waren so emotional und ehrlich – es war unglaublich. Nach der Zeremonie spazierten wir durch ‘The Mall and Literary Walk” wo wir Raph, den Saxophonisten fanden. Wir hielten kurz an der Grand Central an wo die Zwei von Paparazzi/Touristen mit Kameras belagert wurden. Wir endeten dann unseren Tag im Brooklyn Bridge Park für ein paar letzte Fotos mit der gigantischen New York Skyline. Amila & Andreas…ich liebe, liebe, liebe euch!!

Sometimes the wedding shoes deserve their own portrait. 👠❤️

We had officially finished our NYC elopement photo shoot when I spotted those unmistakable red soles in her hand and, well…we weren’t quite finished yet. 😂

There’s something very New York about walking through Midtown in your wedding dress with your Louboutins dangling from your fingers after a day of getting married. Elegant, exhausted, happy and absolutely worth one last photo.

And that little flash of red against the white dress? Come on. Some details are simply too good not to document.

One of my favorite things about photographing NYC elopements is how quickly the city changes the mood. One minute you are tucked away in Central Park, the next you are standing in the middle of Manhattan with yellow cabs, buses, crosswalks, and skyscrapers all around you. Maria & Timo made it look effortless.
