Tim’s surprise proposal was one of the most romantic snowy winter proposals I have photographed to date. The first idea was to photograph the proposal in Dumbo with the New York Skyline in the background. But a day before the proposal the weather forecast started to look pretty grim. So we changed locations last minute to the Gapstow Bridge in Central Park. And it turned out to be the right decision as it started to snow the moment Tim and Kristina entered the bridge. And the rest is history. The proposal happened on a gorgeous winter day in the best city in the world while it started to snow big white snowflakes. It was a dream come true. Kristina said YES of course and we continued to take engagement photos in snowy Central Park. We walked through ‘The Mall’ towards the Bethesda Fountain. We stopped at the Bow Bridge and ended the day at the rocks next to the Ladies Pavilion. Winter magic for sure….

Tim’s Heiratsantrag ist einer der romantischsten Winteranträge die ich bis jetzt fotografieren dürft. Erst wollte Tim den Antrag in Dumbo vor der New York Skyline machen. Dann sah aber plötzlich der Wetterbericht einen Tag vor dem Antrag sehr Trübe aus so dass wir ihn kurzfristig zur Gapstow Bridge im Central Park verlegt haben. Und das erwies sich als goldrichtig da es plötzlich anfing zu schneien als Tim und Kristina auf die Brücke liefen. Der Hochzeitsantrag geschah an einem wunderschönen Wintertag in der besten Stadt der Welt inmitten von grossen weissen Schneeflocken. Es war wie ein Traum. Kristina sagte natürlich JA und wir fotografierten Verlobungsbilder im weissen Central Park. Wir wanderten durch ‘The Mall’ Richtung ‘Bethesda Fountain’ und hielten auch kurz bei der Bow Bridge an bevor wir den Tag in der Nähe vom ‘Ladies ‘Pavilion’ beendeten. Ein wahres Wintermärchen….
