The Dumbo Elopement of Bailey & Jeff | Brooklyn Bridge Park Wedding

This is the Dumbo Elopement of Bailey & Jeff. As you will see from the photos below, it was a picture perfect day when Bailey and Jeff tied the knot in Brooklyn, officiated by their good friend Josh. After the ceremony we stuck around Brooklyn Bridge Park for most of our time together. At the very end we all took the subway into the city for a couple of wedding photos with the hustle & bustle of the big city. This was exactly how an elopement should be. Relaxed and fun for everyone involved. But especially the lovely couple.

Dies ist die Dumbo Hochzeit von Bailey & Jeff. Wie ihr in den Fotos erkennen werdet, es war der perfekte Herbsttag für Bailey und Jeff’s Hochzeit. Josh, ein guter Freund von den beiden, führte die Hochzeit durch und im Anschluss liefen wir durch den Brooklyn Bridge Park um ein paar Hochzeitsfotos zu fotografieren. Mit der Subway ging es dann in die Stadt um im Trubel noch ein paar echte New York Fotos aufzunehmen. Bailey und Jeff’s Hochzeitstag war genauso wie ein Hochzeitstag in New York sein sollte. Entspannend und mit viel Gefühl.

20 years!!

175,320 hours.
10,519,200 minutes.
And around 631 million seconds of putting up with each other.

Today, exactly 20 years ago, I married my best friend. And I had no idea what the next 20 years would bring.

I love Jackie more today than ever. Which says a lot, because I already liked her quite a bit before. She is my best friend, my business partner, my favorite person to do absolutely nothing with, and somehow the only human alive who can handle my grumpy moods. No really, that alone should win her an award or something.

When we met, I was still an architect and Jackie was a musical theater actor. Neither of us could have imagined that 20 years later we would be running our own wedding business together, celebrating love for a living, and helping over 1,200 couples create their own love stories.

We literally spend all our time together. Business, travel, life...and I still wake up every day wanting more of it. That is either true love or early signs of insanity. Probably both.

And to think it all started when I walked down the stairs at Bethesda Terrace and saw her sitting by the fountain…in those ugly pink pants. (Yes, they were that bad. Whole nother story. Ask me about it sometime.)

Twenty years later, we have built this wild, beautiful, unpredictable life together. There have been plot twists, bad haircuts, flight delays, lost luggage, and a whole lot of laughter. And I would not trade a single second of it.

Here is to the next 20 years of chaos, love, and whatever else we get ourselves into. ❤️

We got paired with these two at our 6:54 AM tee time this morning @gallopinghillgolfcourse and right before we teed off, they mentioned they might stop to snap a quick photo for their pregnancy announcement.

Well, what are the odds they got paired with a photographer? So in between bogeys and lost balls, we knocked out an impromptu mini photo shoot. First time for everything, and golf magic at its finest.

Easily the best scorecard moment of the day. 😂

We got paired with these two at our 6:54 AM tee time this morning @gallopinghillgolfcourse and right before we teed off, they mentioned they might stop to snap a quick photo for their pregnancy announcement. Well, what are the odds they got paired with a photographer? So in between bogeys and lost balls, we knocked out an impromptu mini photo shoot. First time for everything, and golf magic at its finest. Easily the best scorecard moment of the day. 😂
