The 620 5th Avenue Elopement of Cassie & Paul | 620 Loft & Garden Wedding

This is the 620 5th Avenue elopement of Cassie & Paul and one of my favorite weddings I photographed in 2018. These two put their closest friends and family members on a plane and flew them half way across the globe to be part of their New York wedding. Cassie and Paul picked one of the most beautiful venues you can book in New York City for their big day. 620 Loft & Garden is just stunning. Jackie performed the ceremony and after some photos up on the roof and after that we were off to explore the city. From Central Park to SoHo and everything in between. It couldn’t have been a more perfect day.

Dies ist die 620 5th Avenue Hochzeit von Cassie & Paul und eine meiner Lieblingshochzeiten die ich in 2018 fotografiert habe. Die Zwei kamen mit ihren engsten Freunden aus Australien um hier in New York zu heiraten. Und es war ein fantastischer Hochzeitstag auf der Dachterrasse des 620 Loft & Garden. Jackie führte die Zeremonie durch und nach ein paar Hochzeitsfotos dort oben ging es los in die Stadt. Vom Central Park bis nach SoHo und alles dazwischen. Es hätte kein besserer Hochzeitstag für die Zwei hier in New York sein können.

Working on something new for our couples. And this one took a while to get right…

20 years!!
7,305 days.
175,320 hours.
10,519,200 minutes.
And around 631 million seconds of putting up with each other.

Today, exactly 20 years ago, I married my best friend. And I had no idea what the next 20 years would bring.

I love Jackie more today than ever. Which says a lot, because I already liked her quite a bit before. She is my best friend, my business partner, my favorite person to do absolutely nothing with, and somehow the only human alive who can handle my grumpy moods. No really, that alone should win her an award or something.

When we met, I was still an architect and Jackie was a musical theater actor. Neither of us could have imagined that 20 years later we would be running our own wedding business together, celebrating love for a living, and helping over 1,200 couples create their own love stories.

We literally spend all our time together. Business, travel, life...and I still wake up every day wanting more of it. That is either true love or early signs of insanity. Probably both.

And to think it all started when I walked down the stairs at Bethesda Terrace and saw her sitting by the fountain…in those ugly pink pants. (Yes, they were that bad. Whole nother story. Ask me about it sometime.)

Twenty years later, we have built this wild, beautiful, unpredictable life together. There have been plot twists, bad haircuts, flight delays, lost luggage, and a whole lot of laughter. And I would not trade a single second of it.

Here is to the next 20 years of chaos, love, and whatever else we get ourselves into. ❤️

We got paired with these two at our 6:54 AM tee time this morning @gallopinghillgolfcourse and right before we teed off, they mentioned they might stop to snap a quick photo for their pregnancy announcement.

Well, what are the odds they got paired with a photographer? So in between bogeys and lost balls, we knocked out an impromptu mini photo shoot. First time for everything, and golf magic at its finest.

Easily the best scorecard moment of the day. 😂

We got paired with these two at our 6:54 AM tee time this morning @gallopinghillgolfcourse and right before we teed off, they mentioned they might stop to snap a quick photo for their pregnancy announcement. Well, what are the odds they got paired with a photographer? So in between bogeys and lost balls, we knocked out an impromptu mini photo shoot.
