Breanne & Dhiren’s New York Central Park Elopement | Heiraten im Central Park

English:
Tired of the cold? Well, let me show you Breanne and Dhiren’s Central Park Elopement which should get you right in the mood for Spring. These two call Canada their home but they decided to make New York City their wedding destination. Together with friends they rented an Airbnb apartment in Harlem and that is where I met them on their wedding day. Everyone was in a good mood. And how could you not? The weather was gorgeous and Central Park was waiting for Breanne and Dhiren’s wedding. We met Jackie at the Ladies Pavilion where she officiated their beautiful ceremony. After the ‘I dos’ we made our way through Central Park. We stopped at the Bethesda Fountain and Terrace, walked down ‘The Mall and Literary Walk’ and ended at the Gapstow Bridge. From there we went to Grand Central for some wedding photos with the New York crowd. It was such a wonderful day and I am so happy they chose me to capture this day for them. Breanne and Dhiren, you always will have a special place in my heart.

20 years!!
7,305 days.
175,320 hours.
10,519,200 minutes.
And around 631 million seconds of putting up with each other.

Today, exactly 20 years ago, I married my best friend. And I had no idea what the next 20 years would bring.

I love Jackie more today than ever. Which says a lot, because I already liked her quite a bit before. She is my best friend, my business partner, my favorite person to do absolutely nothing with, and somehow the only human alive who can handle my grumpy moods. No really, that alone should win her an award or something.

When we met, I was still an architect and Jackie was a musical theater actor. Neither of us could have imagined that 20 years later we would be running our own wedding business together, celebrating love for a living, and helping over 1,200 couples create their own love stories.

We literally spend all our time together. Business, travel, life...and I still wake up every day wanting more of it. That is either true love or early signs of insanity. Probably both.

And to think it all started when I walked down the stairs at Bethesda Terrace and saw her sitting by the fountain…in those ugly pink pants. (Yes, they were that bad. Whole nother story. Ask me about it sometime.)

Twenty years later, we have built this wild, beautiful, unpredictable life together. There have been plot twists, bad haircuts, flight delays, lost luggage, and a whole lot of laughter. And I would not trade a single second of it.

Here is to the next 20 years of chaos, love, and whatever else we get ourselves into. ❤️

If you made it to the end of this post, tell us how we know and met you. Because guess what…you are part of our story too. And we want to hear about it. Thank you for being an integral part of Team Reinking.

Couples always ask me what happens if it rains on their wedding day. And my answer always is: “Then we will have fun in the rain!!”. 🥰

We got paired with these two at our 6:54 AM tee time this morning @gallopinghillgolfcourse and right before we teed off, they mentioned they might stop to snap a quick photo for their pregnancy announcement.

Well, what are the odds they got paired with a photographer? So in between bogeys and lost balls, we knocked out an impromptu mini photo shoot. First time for everything, and golf magic at its finest.

Easily the best scorecard moment of the day. 😂
