We moved to Long Island City the year the Macy’s 4th of July firework display was moved to the Hudson River. For years now we hoped and prayed that the ‘Independence Day’ spectacular would return to the East River so that we could enjoy it from our neighborhood. We had to wait a long time. VA very long time. But this year the fireworks finally returned. And boy…it was a show that did not disappoint. We loved every second of it and I was so fortunate to capture below images of the show in our very own neighborhood. Spectacular Macys! Well done!
